Sectional dismantling in tight gardens or straight fells in open ground — planned properly, cut safely, and cleared away fully.

Sometimes removal is the right call: a tree that's dead or dying, one with serious decay or a split in the main stem, ash showing advanced dieback, storm damage that can't be pruned out, or a tree that's simply outgrown the spot it was planted in and is lifting a wall or blocking a whole garden.
Most gardens around here don't have the room to fell a mature tree in one piece, so the majority of my removals are sectional take-downs — climbed and dismantled in manageable pieces, with heavier limbs rigged and lowered rather than dropped. Everything is planned before the first cut: where each piece goes, what's underneath it, and where the timber gets stacked.
Worth knowing: if the tree is protected by a Tree Preservation Order or you're in a Conservation Area, permission is needed before any work starts. I'll flag it if I think that applies and point you to the right form at the council.

The quickest way to get a quote is a phone call — a few questions and a rough description of the tree is usually enough for a price.
